The New Zealand Aid Programme and USAID signed a memorandum of understanding on December 2 that brings an additional $3 million to USAID's $7.2 million cooperative agribusiness support project. This partnership extends coffee rehabilitation activities to boost Timor-Leste's only major export crop.

USAID Extends Mother and Child Health Services / USAID Habelar Servisu Saúde bá Inan no Labarik
USAID has launched its new, four-year health improvement project to build on its work over the past eight years in child health, reproductive health, and maternal health and nutrition. The project team and the Ministry of health have chosen to work in five of Timor-Leste’s 13 districts - those with the poorest maternal and child health indicators.
