Four Trainees Off to Bali to Study Specialized Vegetable Production (April 27, 2007)

The USAID-funded Private Sector Development Project/Dezenvolve Setor Privadu (DSP) has sent four trainees—three of whom are women--to Bali for horticulture studies. The trainees represent the vegetable producers’ sector as well as a business group involved in a horticulture value chain facilitated by DSP. The Timorese group is expected to gain practical skills from the three-month long training to be conducted by a recognized commercial horticulture partnership in Bali. (April 27, 2007)
