Farmers Head to Bali's Highlands Advanced Skills
02.15.2010
Six farmers from Aileu District travel to Kintamani, Bali, this month to attend a three-month, advanced training on horticultural production techniques. The training is funded through a public-private partnership created in 2009 between USAID/Timor-Leste and ConocoPhillips Corporation to further expand Special Horticultural Areas in Timor-Leste. The participants expressed their eagerness to learn as much as possible during this hands-on training and the commitment to contributing their new skills to the successful operation of SHAs in their communities.
